Job Description

The CEO works with the Board and staff and provides the vision and leadership to fulfill The Moore Center mission of assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities acquired brain disorders and the elderly to live a good life.

About The Moore Center

Based in Manchester New Hampshire The Moore Center is a $46MM state and regional innovator with nearly 65 years of experience in helping people become productive fulfilled members of the community.

We are a recognized leader in providing high quality costeffective services with a personal caring touch to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and acquired brain disorders as well as services to children and seniors and training for the human services workforce.

The CEO is responsible for all Agency operations to manage and lead the Organization and staff to fulfill the Agencys mission.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the mission of the Agency in the community and enhancing the public image of the clients served
  • Researching and designing effective service delivery models and securing the necessary resources to empower and support individuals with developmental disabilities acquired brain disorders the elderly and their families
  • Developing and fostering partnerships with other service providers
  • Identifying new funding sources that are appropriate to carry out the mission of the Organization including private and public grants and fundraising activities
  • Working closely with the Senior Leadership team and Board of Directors in strategic planning for the Organization and ensuring the Organization achieves the goals
  • Identifying and initiating change in the Organizations direction to respond to changing conditions
  • Managing and maintaining the financial health of the Organization
  • Designing and implementing The Moore Centers public relations/fundraising activities
  • Recruiting retaining motivating and managing senior/executive staff. Providing organizational and team leadership management and support to staff through the appropriate executive management staff
  • Developing and maintaining a network in and around the area in support of the Organizations operating objectives
  • Works with the Legislature and Advocacy Groups to advocate for public policy to advance the mission of the Organization

Note: this position is not remote and requires regular presence in the office and also in the community.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative CEO to lead The Moore Center in meeting our important mission!



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Business Human Services or related field
  • Significant experience in leadership roles with at least five years in administration planning and business management of human services programs related to services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders
  • Experience in local state and federal funding
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new funding sources
  • Extensive experience working with Boards of Directors Advocacy groups and other service providers
  • Proof of auto liability insurance on all personal vehicles used for Agency business
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and effective fiscal management
