The Technical Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing information to the Sales team on prospective sales opportunities managing all inbound lead activity qualifying interest developing and closing sales opportunities. They will also prepare sales quotes and proposals to a professional standard identify and develop new business opportunities manage the lead and opportunity pipeline and understand the technical requirements of the customer. Bilingual in English and French is required.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect educate and qualify leads and target accounts to create sales qualified leads and opportunities. Identify key decision makers validate and fulfill request for information.
- Research accounts and prospect to establish contact generate interest develop accounts and stimulate sales opportunities.
- Aid in developing a strong leadnurturing program for prospects.
- Develop schedule of milestones for sales prospects.
- Perform database segmentation and analysis.
- Work closely with Marketing Regional Sales Managers Project Managers Business Managers Engineers and Customer Service to determine strategic approaches for sales ensuring the delivery commitment is met.
- Ensure leads going to sales teams are high priority.
- Update lead and prospect activity in CRM to ensure efficient lead management.
- Produce a predetermined number of quality appointments per month.
- Achieve a highquality rating on appointments as indicated by the sales team.
- Administrative tasks include regular business correspondence sales reports sales scripts and assisting in the development of sales tools.
- Implementation of Sales & Marketing Plans for Renishaw products services programs and accounts.
- Attend periodic industry events to develop expertise and to build network.
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on company products.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: Minimum
- Experience in an industrialtechnical sales role.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
- BilingualEnglish and French
Education and Experience: Preferred
- Experience in an inside sales role.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- ERP experience to identify stock serial numbers and sales orders.
- This position may require the use of and access to ITAR controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such ITAR controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Competencies
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools including: Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Teams.
- Excellent verbal written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively.
