The Client
This is a growing midsized firm with approximately 30 staff in the CBD who are looking to take on an intermediate or a senior accountant. They have a large portfolio of loyal clients who have kept coming back to them year after year.
The Role
Work closely with the seniors and managers and support them with their client portfolios. This company offers hand on exposure to clients already at intermediate level!
Day to day duties:
- Preparation of Income Tax Returns Financial Statements Business Activity Statements & FBT returns
- Tax planning and advice
- Providing clients with business advice and consulting
- Supporting Directors and Managers with ongoing compliance work and special projects
- Preparation of cash flows and tax projections
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Liaising with third parties such ATO SRO etc
- Mentoring and reviewing duties of other team members work
The Applicant
- 2 years local experience in Business Services & Tax
- University degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related fields
- CA/CPA qualification or in the process of attaining
- Experience with MYOB Xero Reckon etc is highly regarded
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
