Power Equipment Pty Ltd located in Lynbrook offer continuity of employment in first class working conditions. Our facilities are well equipped clean and offer onsite parking.
We are the Exclusive Australian New Zealand and South Pacific Distributor for Yanmar and John Deere diesel engines for Marine Industrial and Agriculture applications ranging from 5HP to 2000HP. With a growing product range we need to again expand our Engineering team. We are seeking the services of an experienced Engineer. Ideally you will have several years in field experience. The role is exposed to a variety of engines and applications so be prepared for a challenge.
Reporting to the National Engineering & Customer Service Manager this roles responsibilities include:
Modern Diesel Engine knowledge
Electronic Engine fault finding testing and programming
Warranty Diagnosis
Engine Installation review/Application review skills
Providing Technical assistance to end users/dealers and OEMs
With the way we work you are responsible for your own job so you need to be able to work autonomously but following processes within time frames.
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in the Diesel Engine service/support environment.
Engineering qualifications in Mechanical or Marine would be looked upon favourably.
Excellent computer skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and pride in your work
Demonstrated ability to complete company projects on time
Demonstrated experience working in and being a part of a small team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a great attitude be reliable and have a high level of initiative
An ability to apply and adhere to OH&S in the workplace
