GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for a IT Support Technician. As the organizations primary IT Support Technician you are the first point of contact for employee IT support. Having a serviceoriented nature you will triage Helpdesk service requests and provide technical support in a friendly and timely manner. As a key member of the IT team you will also contribute to the infrastructure teams projects and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for the organizations IT support team assist with general IT technical support.
  • Triage and service IT support tickets in JIRA and ensure completion in predetermined service level agreement.
  • Setup support and troubleshoot for new / existing users in an inoffice and remote Windows Linux and Mac environment.
  • Perform computer maintenance and lifecycle.
  • Manage asset control management.
  • Create and maintain IT technical documentation forms workflows.
  • Assist in the maintenance development and implementation of new and existing infrastructure including network equipment virtualization Microsoft 365 Active Directory and more.
  • Consult technical manuals and research for technical issues and solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of IT infrastructure policies and processes to support company growth.
  • Support the infrastructure administration team to test and implement new solutions.
  • Proactively participate in professional development performance reviews and training.
  • Participate in organizational occupational health and safety education prevention promotion and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in system or network administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of technical support experience.
  • Working knowledge in Active Directory Microsoft 365 MS Office Windows Linux and Mac environments.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills through identifying analyzing and resolving problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Service oriented by actively listening setting expectations and delivering commitments.

Security Requirements
