Job Description
Join the team at The Hotel Hershey a luxury resort best known for its refined elegance signature services and abundant amenities. The Hotel Hershey is situated high atop the town of Hershey and has 276 guest rooms including 10 Villas with 48 luxury sleeping rooms as well as 25000 square feet of meeting and function space. The 1930s hotel is a Historic Hotel of America and a AAA FourDiamond Award winner.
This position will greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient courteous and professional manner. We are looking for someone to join our team yearround.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Greeting guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seating guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation*
Completing opening and closing procedures including cash control and settlement of guest charges*
Coordinating reservations and seating charts*
Answering telephones*
Overseeing service safety and sanitation to ensure quality. Responding to guests questions requests and concerns.*
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate pointofsale computer and calculator.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.
Proven employee/guest relations communication problemsolving and organizational skills.
Professional image representative of company image.
Job Demands:
Physical requirements include standing (up to 100 of shift) walking bending stooping hearing speaking and finger dexterity.
The ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work a flexible eighthour shift according to operational needs including weekends and holidays.
