About the Position The Account Executive is responsible for locating signing up training and soliciting mortgage loans from mortgage brokers mortgage bankers banks and credit unions. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions - Develops builds and maintains longterm relationships with brokers banks and credit unions
- Makes routine sales calls on wholesale/correspondent customer base to solicit loan volume and maintain a robust pipeline continually
- Ensures successful onboarding of new business relationships
- Obtains all required loan documents and financial statements from prospective brokers banks and credit unions and sends for customer approval
- Works closely with processing and underwriting to ensure fast turnaround time and quality of underwriting of customers loans
- Works closely with mortgage closers to ensure smooth accurate and highquality loan closings
- Continually monitors the performance of accounts in the pipeline and provides expert customer service
Competencies - Knowledge of mortgage processing underwriting and closing procedures
- Knowledge of mortgage loan regulatory requirements residential products and functions
- Desire to maximize personal productivity through attention to detail selfmotivation and adaptability to achieve personal business plan goals
- Actively participate in opportunities to expand knowledge influencing and interpersonal skills through continuing educational opportunities
Education and Experience - Associate degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales is preferred
- 2 years of residential mortgage experience
- Established relationships with local referral networks
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets scanners and fax machines.
