The Key Account Manager will take full ownership of a portfolio of high-value merchants. The goal will be to drive revenue growth strengthen partnerships and ensure best-in-class service delivery. The KAM will act as a strategic advisor helping merchants leverage Avardas payment solutions to achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic merchant accounts across multiple markets.
- Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day operational and strategic matters.
- Drive account growth through upselling cross-selling and collaborative business planning.
- Analyze account performance (conversion rates payment method usage etc.) and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate internal teams (Product Risk Support) to ensure merchants receive seamless service.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and present account insights and KPIs.
- Monitor market and merchant trends to identify opportunities for innovation or product enhancement.
- Handle contract renewals and support negotiation processes.
Qualifications and previous experience:
- Excellent sales communication presentation and relationship skills.
- Comfortable working with data and KPIs to drive insights and decisions.
- Proactive solution-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership.
- Proven track record of driving account growth improving retention and exceeding commercial targets.
- Solid understanding of payment flows checkout optimization and digital commerce.
- Excellent sales communication presentation and relationship skills.
- Great knowledge of payments and within e-commerce is a plus.
- Excellent in communication and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent in Swedish and English language.
