Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a leading architecture firm based in Stellenbosch.
As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will be responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients contractors and other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and meet the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience in documentation and construction of largescale mixed use and complex commercial buildings
- To produce sketch illustrations in Revit in line with the Architects brief for a variety of projects.
- To produce and coordinate council submission documentation both SDP and Building Plans
- Produce working drawings coordinated with other disciplines.
- Attend site meetings and quality control inspections.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction on behalf of Architect.
- Team player
- Minimum Batchelors (Honors) or NQF 7 or 8 (Architecture) Qualification
- Minimum of 5years experience (After Post grad)
- Registered with SACAP
- Advanced in use of Revit (certification of such preferable)
- Complete BP Revit Assessment with minimum 80 score
- Advanced knowledge and history of council documentation and submission process
- Advanced knowledge of technical detailing and construction documents
- Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management
- A high standard of communication skills and attention to detail required
- A commitment to providing excellent client service through efficiency and the quality in production of work
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment
- Sufficiently experienced to resolve problems and to make decisions when required
- Plans and organises workflow and resources to ensure commitments and deadlines are met
- Build working relationships in project team and with clients
- Sets a positive example and displays visible loyalty to the company
