About this position

Acusensus is on a mission to make our roads safer and were looking for an Operations and Engineering Lead to help champion the way with our cuttingedge hardware for road worker safety. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on both the tactical and the strategic and who isnt afraid to get their hands dirty to make sure our safety products work flawlessly in the field. Youll be handson with our hardware helping to bring bold ideas to life while building systems that can scale globally as we grow.

As we push the limits of innovation we need someone whos ready to roll up their sleeves in the field coordinate critical production elements and build the foundations for a safer world.

Reporting to the Head of Road Worker Safety the Operations and Engineering Lead is responsible for the following:

• Working directly in the field with our hardware overseeing setup maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure all systems are operating at peak performance.
• Oversee production schedules and stock levels coordinating with manufacturing partners to keep production on track and ensure we have the right components available when we need them.
• Collaborate closely with software teams to guarantee seamless hardwaresoftware integration making sure everything works together to keep road workers safe.
• Manage the lifecycle of our hardware products from prototyping and testing to deployment in realworld settings ensuring our products meet and exceed industry standards.
• Maintain strict quality control processes and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations preparing our products for deployment on a global scale.
• Act as the primary contact for manufacturing and supply chain partners negotiating contracts and coordinating deliveries to optimise costefficiency and reliability.
• Keep detailed records of all operational processes constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency and scale as we expand.

Knowledge and Key Attributes

Practical knowledge of production inventory management and supplier coordination.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate diverse projects and teams across multiple locations.

Exceptional problemsolving skills with a willingness to jump in and address challenges on the ground.

Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Mandarin proficiency a plus).

Experience and Qualifications

A background in operations or engineering with a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) preferred. Experience in highreliability sectors such as automotive or road safety is a strong advantage.

Proven experience in handson roles managing operational aspects of hardware production and supply chain processes.
