Job Summary:The Contracts Service Specialist supports activities involved in the purchase of goods and services for the Nashville International Airport.
Essential Job Duties:
- Prepares issues and facilitates the competitive solicitations for goods and services construction and professional services with the goal of obtaining the best value consistent with company needs.
- Chairs the solicitation vendor selection committee process as needed.
- Facilitates meetings related to solicitations including preproposals vendor interviews and post award debriefings.
- Obtains and evaluates vendor quotes for goods and services related to Informal Requests for Quotes.
- Posts and updates business opportunities to the Nashville International Airport website and the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) eBidding platform (Aerobidz).
- Prepares and processes competitive solicitation award documents.
- Prepares purchase agreements and purchase orders in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Updates master project listing as needed.
- Utilizes the MNAA digital signature service (DocuSign) to execute contract and other procurement related document approvals.
- Supports MNAAs commitment to its culture and values including Respect Integrity Service and Excellence (RISE).
- Maintains regular and ontime attendance.
- Follows all safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
