You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Orenda Center of Wellness outpatient services program is currently hiring for the womens 24/7 transitional living program. We are looking for qualified candidates to become direct care technicians (DCT) that will work with our female clientele located at the womens house in Frederick. This program provides substance use treatment with transitional living for up to 16 women at a time transitioning from their completed inpatient services stay. The DCT will be responsible for ensuring client safety at the house monitoring medication times providing transportation with our company van conducting urine screens providing daily check ins composing accurate and detailed shift notes/reports ensuring the upkeep and community cleanliness of the house and assisting woman with daytoday tasks as well as some case management services. This position will report directly to the Direct Care Manager as well as require everyone to have team approach and work ethic. Ability to adapt and adjust to change quickly will be needed as well as the ability to make proper decisions in the moment related to client care and safety. Experience in the field of addictions and/or mental health services is preferred but not required. Training and shadow shifts are provided as needed throughout the course of employment.
The shifts available for immediate hire and start are:
*PRN weekdays and weekends*
PRN Weekends and Evenings with open availability
The shifts are:
Daytime: 8:00a to 4:00p
Evenings: 3:30p to 11:00p
Overnights: 11:00p to 10:00a
Weekends: 7a to 4p / 3:30 to 11p / 10:30p to 7:30a

Job Requirements & Minimum Skills:
GED or high school diploma
Clean driving record
Not currently on probation or parole
Not enrolled in any treatment or sober living facilities for the past 90 days
Insurable on company insurance must provide proof of active current auto coverage policy
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a drug screen
Experience working in mental health substance use or medical field. (Not required but preferred)
Flexibility with hours and workload responsibilities
Ability to follow preset schedules and have good time management skills
Ability to work as a team player
Passion for helping others
Basic computer skills and professional phone skills
CPR/First Aid Certified
Med Tech Certification(Preferred)
Experience with Medication Administration / Management
