Job Description
Overview
Talent Pool: Allied Health
Responsibilities
Produces extraoral and intraoral radiographs of diagnostic quality while requiring minimal exposure to patients and staff.
Supports with sterilizing instruments equipment materials and accessories and organizing instrument kits instrument trays and accessory equipment according to procedure in order to assist the doctor/student/hygienist.
Adheres to infection control procedures in order to reduce the risk of crosscontamination to patient doctor and staff.
Maintains adequate supplies for the operation of the dental clinic by monitoring the inventory to ensure successful appointments.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
Qualifications
Dental Assistant (DA) certification per North Carolina Dental Board definitions
BLS (CPR)American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
