This role is a key element to the Food and Beverage department with La ColombeDor.
Listed below are theessential tasks and duties to be executed on a daily weekly or monthlybasis.
RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Enthusiasticallyand proactively sell the propertiesconcept to group corporate andleisure prospects in a way that best illustrates the identity of the brandas innovative and new.
Prospectand qualify all lead sources through cold calls teleprospecting andnetworking to generate new opportunities.
On amonthly forecast meeting discuss individual and team sales and event salesgoals that are to be met or exceeded.
Negotiatecontracts ensuring that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing arecomplete and documented in a timely manner.
Pursuenew clients through creative/innovative sales techniques and aggressiveprospecting
Managelead sources to ensure quantity and quality of leads
Createcustomized Wedding Packages Menus and proposals etc.
In aprofessional manner respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours orsooner.
Followproper event management procedures for event to include but notlimited to BEO creation F&B forecasting and room block management on OpenTable
Produceand distribute accurate banquet/catering event orders timelines diagrams andresumes within timeframe for proper .
Coordinateplan and implement wedding related marketing tactics and events
Produceand distribute 10day Events Schedule and BEO Packet as well as Daily EventsSchedule
Advisethe General Manager of all matters relating to Special Events.
Attendweekly leadership meetings and discuss monthly projective upcoming events
WeeklySpecial Events Meetings will include Director of Events Chef
Accountant RestaurantManagerDirector of Rooms and Director of Food and Beverage.
. Drivestrategies to develop long term business relationships andrepeatbusiness.
Makeonsite field presentations and outside sales calls to prospective clients
Monitorsales activities/performance to ensure revenue goals meet or exceed establishedplan and accurately report variance/projections to management
Ensurethat the property is maximizing the use of all company brand and local LCDprograms.
Whenin the role of MOD coaching for team members to drive high levels ofperformance job satisfaction and personal growth.
Developand maintain positive relationships with peers competitors and brand partners.
Assistin Developing a Special Events Sales Budget plan in conjunction with theproperties executive team and execute marketingrelated items
Coordinateplan and implement wedding related marketing tactics and events.
Addcreativity and trend insights into driving events revenue via wedding packagespromotions and public relations.
Workwith marketing team vendors and agencies.
Usebrand opportunities to drive revenue.
Trackand report on all event sales activities for hotel.
Trackand report on all event planner surveys and feedback.
Keepinformed of industry news that affects the organization and shares informationwith team.
Effectivelydevelop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customerbase for future sales opportunities.
Be anactive part of the property management team fostering and developing the LCDhospitality culture.
Stimulatea friendly cheerful attitude in his/her conduct with other managers guestsand fellow associates.
Driveproduct quality and a unique guest experience at every opportunity.
Ensurethat all administrative procedures are in place and functioning effectively.

In addition toperformance of the essential functions this position may be required toperform a combination of the following supportive functions for front of house.

Reportmaintenance problems safety hazards accidents or injuries.
Performother reasonable job duties as requested by the F and B Director and Restaurantmanager while most importantly observing that staff keeps consistent with providing excellent service.
