Job Description

Occupational Therapist Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide direct Occupational Therapy; screenings; evaluations; reevaluations; Individualized Education Programrelated paperwork in compliance with IDEA the South Carolina Department of Education and Liberty STEAM Charter procedures; and meetings and conferences with parents and district staff including IEP meetings. The Occupational Therapist will serve scholars at both the primary and elementary campuses in a parttime capacity not to exceed 25 hours a week.

Requirements:

  • Certification requirements: SC LLR
  • Flexibility in scheduling

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct Occupational Therapy services
  • Initial Occupational Therapy Evaluations
  • Occupational Therapy Reevaluations
  • Teacher/Classroom/Parent Consultations
  • IEP meetings IEP documentation
  • Documentation of clinical notes progress reports evaluations reevaluations

  • Occupational Therapy Screenings and documentation
  • Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and all time/meetings relevant to the child and his/he performance within the school environment

Compensation:

  • $35$60/hour based on experience relevant to the position (certified OT experience)
