Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Anesthesia Technician for a 13-week contract in a busy surgical setting. The tech will support anesthesia providers in multiple areas including the main OR Cath Lab IR GI L&D and Radiology. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience BLS certification and strong skills in anesthesia machine support patient positioning and airway management.

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures

• Assist anesthesia providers with airway management IV/arterial line insertion and intubation

• Transport and position patients in accordance with OR protocols

• Perform and document equipment safety checks including troubleshooting anesthesia machines

• Maintain operating room safety standards including infection control electrical/fire safety and sterilization

• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient care activities

• Maintain and stock anesthesia carts supplies and emergency equipment

• Float to like units as needed: Cath Lab Interventional Radiology GI L&D and Radiology

• Minimum 1 year of recent anesthesia tech experience

• WA license required (if applicable by state law) must be active at time of submission

• Must be able to float between multiple procedural units

• No on-call required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Must work rotating weekends as needed

• RTO must be declared at time of submission

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician training program preferred

Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or surgical setting required

License & Certifications:

• BLS Required (AHA)
