Job Description
The School of Education at Syracuse University seeks an Assistant Teaching Professor (nontenure track) in Educational Leadership . The successful candidate will build upon the educational leadership programs longstanding and distinguished legacy of advancing equityfocused inclusive and instructional leadership as well as engaging deeply with local schools/districts.

Responsibilities
We are seeking someone who will: a) teach graduate courses and supervise interns in the Universitys Certificate of Advanced Study CAS program that leads to dual certification in school and district educational leadership; b) coordinate this CAS program; c) will teach class online as well and connect with administrators around the region because this program is fully online; d) advise and mentor graduate students; e) recruit leadership students provide placement and career counseling to candidates and recent graduates f) collaborate with other faculty; g) connect with local/regional school leadership and maintain active engagement with the practicing and scholarly fields of educational leadership; and h) serve as the Director for the Syracuse University Study Council a consortium of school districts in Central New York.

Qualifications
Advanced degree (beyond a masters degree) in educational leadership or closely related field. Experience as a publicschool administrator at the school and/or district levels. Demonstrated skill as a teacher for adults.
