PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
To support AgLands energy department market share improve AgLands efficiency help achieve AgLands mission and goals and provide outstanding customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Sales service installation maintenance and repair for energy department tanks and miscellaneous items.
Provide excellent customer service.
Schedule product delivery to customer locations.
Work handson with other sales and service team members.
Be knowledgeable and use resources to make proper recommendations on installation of products and services sold.
Attend product and service related training sessions.
Maintain product inventory.
Records sales or delivery information daily.
Make delivers of products for fellow employees when needed.
Continuously evaluate our equipment suppliers on timeliness price and overall service provided.
Be able and willing to take and pass all CETP training programs offered by Illinois Propane Gas Association.
Have working knowledge of industry standards (Pamphlets 5458.
Must be able to obtain CDL with all required endorsements.
Follow AgLand credit policy when making sales calls.
Maintains company vehicle performs basic maintenance as needed.
Functional Skills
Understanding of all energy products along with sales ability record keeping and reporting.
Ability to work independently and in teamoriented environment.
Proven professional communication persuasion presentation and customer service skills.
Demonstrate planning organization time management and problem solving skills.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 12 years or more of sales delivery or service experience to demonstrate strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries and concerns.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge collaboration communication customer focus decision making and skill development.
Must be able to travel independently and overnight.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered normal.
