Job Description
I/D.W is searching for a talented Motion Designer to build stunning and sophisticated motion graphics and visual effects. This is a contract position with the potential for fulltime employment depending on the candidate.
The Role
Motion Designers at I/D.W work collaboratively with clients internal designers and production artists to create standalone animations and compelling highquality videos. The role includes starttofinish motion design from storyboarding through to design animation and publication. The successful candidate will be a team player who enjoysworking in a fastpaced creative and postproduction environment with quickturnarounds. Were looking for a designer that lives for animation and visual effects can work out of our Oakland studio at key moments including kickoff and review.This is a contract position focused on specific creative projects.
Qualifications
Motion design and animation spans I/D.W disciplines and projects. Ideal candidates should have a strong portfolio and be very comfortable designing and animating in both 2D and 3D. Advanced knowledge of After Effects Illustrator Photoshop and other design tools to aid in the creation and manipulation of assets are a must. In addition we look for a deep understanding of design and typographyand a dedication to usability and usercentric design. Applications should demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects and advance the work through multiple revisions while maintaining attention to detail.
