Longevity Partners a global energy and sustainability consultancy is seeking a drivenBusiness Development Internto join our US team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in sustainability consulting client acquisition and sales strategy development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background or demonstrated interest in clientfacing roles business development and sustainability.

What Were Looking For

We are seeking candidates with experience or education related to:

  • Sales and client acquisition (proposals contracts and outreach).
  • Working within consultancy environments ideally in sustainability or real estate sectors.
  • Managing and optimizing business development tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Intern you will:

  • Client and Market Research:Research prospective clients industry trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities.
  • Lead Generation:Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and initiate outreach using platforms like LinkedIn and email.
  • Proposal and Sales Material Creation:Assist in preparing professional clientfacing materials such as proposals presentations and contracts.
  • CRM Management:Maintain and update HubSpot or similar CRM systems to track leads and sales opportunities.
  • Content Development:Create marketing collateral case studies and insights into the sustainability and real estate sectors.
  • Event Coordination:Help plan and execute events and webinars to enhance client engagement and visibility.
  • Data Analysis:Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration:Partner with sustainability consultants and marketing teams to align business development initiatives with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Currently in your final year or recently completed an undergraduate degree inBusiness Marketing Environmental Science or related fields.
  • Proven experience or coursework insales client acquisition proposals or contracts.
  • Knowledge or experience insustainability real estate or consultancy environmentsis a strong advantage.
  • Strong research writing and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint); familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM tools is a plus.
  • Highly organized detailoriented and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive teamoriented attitude.
