Job Description
Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detailoriented Architectural Drafter to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for our new ADU construction projects.
This role demands a deep understanding of architectural drafting principles and expertise in using Revit among other drafting software. Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed architectural drawings plans elevations and sections from initial design concepts.
Collaborate with project managers and design teams to grasp project specifications and objectives fully.
Participate in design meetings to offer technical expertise and help align projects with the intended design vision.
Uphold strict drafting standards to ensure all documents comply with industry regulations and client requirements.
Manage project documentation and oversee the permit submission process ensuring all records are current and accurately reflect project changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in architectural drafting particularly with residential projects.
High proficiency in Revit and familiarity with other architectural drafting software.
A strong understanding of construction techniques materials and applicable building codes.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to function effectively within a team. Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to relocate to and work in San Diego CA 92109.
