As an IT Technician you will do both ongoing & projectbased work with clients. You will have tasks to perform for a wide range of customers in various businesses such as law health manufacturing construction to name a few.
Assignments may include onsite and remote control desktop support; setup and configuration or tuning of Windows servers; setup migration and deployment of Office 365 installations; updating software installing new software and configuring softwarein some cases software you havent seen before; managing Windows and malware updates; removing malware; adding user accounts; installing data switches; using a web GUI to support Asteriskbased phone systems; setup of both simple firewall and rulesbased firewalls; monitoring and managing backups and BDRs; working to install configure and extend cloud services.Work onsite at clients locations within New Jersey Pennsylvania and Delaware or remotely (at our headquarter location) depending on the need.
You possess the following or are willing to quickly learn:
A PSA or CRM system for ticketing.
An RMM tools
A strong blend of an ability to resolve issues plan projects and provide great customer service.
Comfortable working with both Macs and PCs (Windows 10
Comfortable working with Server OS (Windows Server 2012 through 2019.This also includes the various Roles Features and functions (Hyper V RDP Command Prompt/PowerShell etc.
Comfortable working with both iPhone and Android devices while managing them through a cloud platform.
Setting customer expectations by communicating honestly clearly and regularly. They are your focus.
Have good communication clear and professional demeanor astuteness and confidence in working with management and users at small to midsized businesses 1 to 100 users).
Must notice opportunities for improvement and suggest/implement ways to better serve our customers. You can plan out a project to do so.
Maintain calm and poise when pressure mounts and are able to solve problems quickly confidently and simply. Your demeanor ensures customers remain confident in our service.
Working independently and with little supervision. You can get your assignments completed documented and communicated back to Operations on time.
Understanding how to support IT functions at a group level.
Helping out the other Technicians when you can.
Are careeroriented.
Have a valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
Are able to arrive at customers on time
Have flexibility to work occasionally afterhours and weekends on both an oncall and scheduled basis.

Knowing when to reach out for help or support and where to get help from
Qualifications:
2 years of work experience as a System/Network Administrator IT Consultant
Windows Server experience setting up Windows domain
PC and Mac desktop support experience
Exchange admin skills
Setup and maintenance of VPN Router Firewall and Switches
Familiarity with Fortinet SonicWALL pfSense or similar firewall equipment
Experience managing Windows DNS DHCP services
Firewall and Security Savvy
Must have car and good driving record
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds without issue
Ability to learn quickly while under pressure
