Job Description
STEP 1: APPLICATION FOR FALL 2024
Juniors (Class of 2025 interested in participating in the Biomedical Engineering BSBME/MSE Integrated Program starting Fall 2024 (graduating with BSBME and MSE 2026 must complete this application by June 1 2024.
Qualifications required:
- UT Austin Biomedical Engineering student currently enrolled in juniorlevel BME classes (Class of 2025.
- Have less than 18 semester credit hours (five classes) remaining in BSBME degree and other majors minors and certificates to complete in.
- Minimum 3.0 UT Overall Grade Point Average
- Preference will be given for students:
- in their third year with expected completion of both degrees in five years total. However students in their fourth year who would complete both degrees in six years total are eligible to apply
- who are industrybound and plan to participate in the CID (Clinical Innovation and Design) program.
This application requires:
- Resume
- Personal Statement
- Scanned PDF of an Official Transcript or Academic Summary with grades through Spring 2024
- Two 2 Letters of Recommendation
All application components are due June 1 2024.

- On track to finish BSBME degree requirements by May 2025
- Preference will be given to students who are completing their BSBME requirements at the end of four years and would finish their MSE at the end of five years
- Have less than 18 semester credit hours (five classes) remaining in BSBME degree and other majors minors and certificates (including waiver of remaining six technical elective hour requirements)
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in upperdivision BME and engineering classes
- Minimum 3.0 UT Overall Grade Point Average
