Location: Blackpool North West
Hours: 2 posts available:24hours a week flexible shifts and 24 hours a week nights
Pay: 14.00 to 14.50 per hour

The role of this Personal CareAssistant
Our personal care assistantsjoin our clients support team providing reliable essential care and supportin their home. You will be employed byHomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and your focus will be to support themonly.
Pay rates are broken down asfollows:
Monday to Friday 8am 8pm: 14.00
About the Client and Duties
Our client is a nonverbal 20year old man with complex disabilities and needs. He is lively joyful and loves music and beingsilly. He is looking for a friendly person to join his care team who can keephim upbeat and smiling.
Support is required withpersonal care medication moving and handling ventilation and oxygen therapyand providing emergency aid when required.
Requirements
Training and Support:
We provide comprehensive paidtraining to CQC standards covering:
- Full induction
- Safeguarding Adults
- Health & Safety / FirstAid / Food Hygiene
- Moving & Handling withhoist
- Personal care / Pressure areacare / Sepsis awareness / Infection control
- Gastrostomy care / medication(via PEG) / Oxygen / Oral Suction / Ventilation
- Epilepsy / LearningDisabilities / Autism / Cerebral Palsy / MCA & DOLs
Requirements:
- Able to be flexible and workas part of a team
- Commitment to longtermpersoncentred care
- You must be reliablecompassionate and committed to respecting confidentiality
