Employment Litigation Associate Irvine CA
Our client a prestigious law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 47 years of experience to join their Irvine office. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled litigator with experience handling wage and hour class/collective actions and PAGA cases to join a dynamic and highly regarded employment law practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage wage and hour litigation matters including class actions collective actions and PAGA cases
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
- Draft and argue motions including motions for summary judgment and class certification
- Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs witnesses and experts
- Provide strategic advice and counsel on employment litigation matters
- Work independently and collaboratively to manage multiple cases in a fastpaced environment
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABAaccredited law school
- 47 years of employment litigation experience with a strong focus on wage and hour class/collective actions and PAGA cases
- Exceptional legal research writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Selfstarter who thrives in both independent and teamoriented environments
- Admitted to the California Bar (required)
- Candidates with strong litigation backgrounds in other practice areas and a demonstrated interest in employment law are encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $220000 $260000 (based on experience skills and internal equity)
