DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (OUTLICENSING & INLICENSING)
Our parent corporation has been operating since 1958 and is one of the pioneering pharmaceutical companies in Turkey. Our company having R&D in focus manufactures with international quality standards and currently exports products to other countries worldwide. Our US arm is currently seeking a position for a Director of Business Development (OutLicensing & InLicensing):
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Life Sciences
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development in pharma sector with emphasis on OutLicensing
- Excellent written and verbal command of English a second language desirable
- Experience in team leadership and department management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team worker analytical thinker effective in problem solving and solution oriented
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Position reports directly to the CEO/Chairman of the Board
- Primary responsibilities for executing outlicensing & inlicensing activities including financial analysis
- Management of existing and new projects in line with the companys business development strategies and expansion plans
- Monitor global and national markets for new product developments product innovations and sectoral developments in the pharmaceutical industry
- Identify potential strategic partners with responsibility for all commercial & contractual negotiations
- Develop new geographical markets and pursue out licensing contracts in new markets
- Lead preparation and coordination of the Product Selection Meetings and ensure that the cooperation of the BD department with other internal departments is carried out in the most efficient way
