Job Description
Our client is looking for a Litigation Associate to join their team. The team is approximately 10 members strong with their mission of making insurance companies keep their promise through insurance recovery and business litigation.
As a Litigation Associate you will play a key role in representing our clients in complex insurance recovery and business litigation cases. You will work closely with our seasoned attorneys providing strategic legal advice and advocacy to businesses and individuals. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience with a strong background in insurance recovery and business litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in insurance recovery and business litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and briefs.
- Manage all phases of litigation including discovery depositions and trial preparation.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop effective case strategies.
- Attend court hearings mediations and arbitrations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure highquality legal representation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance recovery and business litigation.
- Strong analytical research and writing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
