Test Engineer to be part of a dynamic team working in an Agile Software Development environment.
The Test engineer will be responsible for documentation and authoring and executing test procedures.
This position requires someone who is proactive and passionate about ensuring the quality of software deliverables and can communicate what is required to achieve this effectively to both Product Owners and development engineers.
In addition it is expected that the Test Engineer will author the test based documentation and will support the Chief Systems Engineer in ensuring all systems and software documentation is kept up to date.
Participate in requirements and design reviews
Author and execute test cases to ensure product requirements are met
Run manual and automated tests
Ensure complete and timely reporting on bugs and test results
Write testing documentation and help finalize all system and software documentation
CDRLs for the program
Familiarity with programs using the Agile Scrum methodology
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelors Degree or 4 years of relevant technical experience
At least 35 years of experience in software testing
At least 35 years of experience writing documentation
The ability to communicate effectively with both Product Owners and software developers
Must have and maintain a DoD SECRET Clearance
Physical Requirements:
This position primarily consists of working indoors in an office environment. In the course of the employees duties he/she may travel to customer sites to perform essential job duties. Essential functions: The employee may be required to: sit walk or stand for extended periods talk and hear with the ability to communicate detect converse with discern convey express oneself exchange information to use the hands and fingers to operate activate use prepare inspect place or position and see to detect determine perceive identify recognize judge observe inspect estimate and assess.
Travel may be required based on business goals and objectives.
NonDisclosure Agreement:
This policy is stated in the Employee Handbook which will be supplied during the first month of employment. All employees of Webhead will be required to sign and adhere to this agreement.
Schedule Requirements
This position shall require the employee to be available and ready to work between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. The actual work schedule shall be determined and coordinated with management of Webhead and its client.
