Job Description
Role: Sr. Design Engineer (BIW)(Upperbody Underbody and Closures)
Experience: 48 yrs
Location: Vadodara & Pune
- BIW (BodyinWhite) Design of structural components(e.g. Door Panels / Body Side Panel/Upper body / Underbody Panels)
- Must have strongexperience in design of passenger car body componentslike Roof Floor Side body outer/inner doors closures etc.
- Design and release experience inBIW Engineering.
- 35 years of 3D CAD experiences in Catia V5with3 Years with good Surface modellingskills.
- Strong Program management skills with a goal/target minded discipline.
- Must have relevant experience inMaster Sections Vehicle Integration Vehicle packaging Concept creation assembly processes of various parts.
- Should have knowledge and understanding ofAutomotive Sheet Metal Parts Manufacturing Assembly and Tooling Process.
- Must have handledprojectsforleading Automotive OEMsor have at least onecomplete project experience in BIW & Closures.
- Should be able to prepare deliver presentations of the concepts.
- Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis DFMEA
- Develop and manage project plans and ensure ontime delivery.
- Understanding tolerance stack up & GDT is an added advantage.
- Ability to quickly understand complex problems and effectively facilitate a team to decision and action.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in Homologation & Crash standard.
