Salary:$6271 $7940 per month (SR26 Step C to I)

Responsible for the analyzing and recommending procedures on equipment operation maintenance and repairs; recommending equipment rental rates for vehicles and equipment owned by the Highways Division; and for preparing specifications for the purchase of new equipment. Also has the responsibility for reviewing inspecting and making recommendations of safety practices and preparing safety manual and Civil Defense and emergency procedures. Develops and recommends policies and procedures governing the acquisition operation maintenance repair and replacement of motorized passenger vehicles and construction equipment and oversees their implementation; develops and conducts industrial safety activities; and performs other duties as required.
To qualify applicants must meet all of the following experience requirements:
Supervisory Experience:Three 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory work experience in the area of repair and maintenance of motorized passenger vehicles and/or construction equipment or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
