JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Underminimalsupervisionlearn how to use a variety offinishapplicationtools techniques and materialsfor allfinished surfacesfor completion of VIPaircraft.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Finish all surfaces by means of paint polish etc.I.A.W. Comluxapproved procedures.
- Must be able to interpret material specs and engineering drawings to ensureall finishedpartsmeetthe design spec quality standards and customer expectations.
- Learn to request material needsfrom approved data in atimelymannerto ensure a continuous workflow.
- Must be able to adhere to all regulatory documentation regarding proper sign offs. As well as be able to ensure paperwork is complied with and completed timely in accordance with the Comlux RSQM and other quality standards.
- Follow all department safety guidelines and ensure proper usage of tools and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of company installation procedures process specs IOPs etc.
- Other duties as assigned but not covered herein.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION EXPERIENCE LICENSES ETC:
- High School Diploma or GED.Relevant trade school attendance is a plus.
- Basicknowledge of thefinishapplicationprocessesas it specifically relates to thecorporateaviation industry in a completions environment.
- Ability to read write speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basicknowledge andwillingness to learnall aspects of thefinishapplicationprocess.
- Willingness to obtain knowledge of the RSQM and FAA requirements as it relates tofinishapplication.
- Working knowledge of computers andrelated software utilized by Comlux.
- Willingnessto obtain working knowledge of lean or other continuous improvement opportunity techniques.
- Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional motivating and tactful manner.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment described here is representative of those required by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.
The location where this position works is in an aircraft hangar environment which could be subject to weather changes and is subject to constant exposure to loud noise potential contact with hazardous waste material heavy machinery and other safety hazards such as cabinets etc.
