Key Responsibilities
The business development manager will beresponsible for:
- Generating a pipeline of potential customersand managing the conversion of leads and prospects into customers.
- Realizing annual and quarterly goals withrespect to pipeline generation conversion rates customer acquisitioncontract yields and customer retention.
- Coordinating the customer vetting process (incollaboration with the credit team) leads the completion of transactions.
- Account management customer satisfaction andmanaging relationships with existing customers.
- Managing or comanaging collaborativerelationships with the local (partner) organizations of the Original EquipmentManufacturers (OEMs) who are their thirdparty service providers forinstallation maintenance support customer training and an important part oflead generation.
- Contributing in close collaboration withcolleagues to building an organization brimming with operationalexcellence the implementation of technology platforms the evolution of andcompliance with standard operating procedures.
- Local implementation and monitoringof all policies and procedures related to business development and accountmanagement.
- Continuous updating of the CRM platform andfor regular and accurate reporting of business development activities andcontributes to consolidated and group level reporting.
- Operating in close collaboration with othermembers of the broader business development team of their company.
- Participating in the development of newservice offerings and contributing to the evaluation and expansion of theirHealthcare program to other equipment categories.
- Proposing a departmental annual budget anrating plan in the context of their plan and budget.
- Upholding their values.
- Being fully compliant with all applicableregulations codes of conduct and standards.

Qualifications Experience Characteristics and Skills
Minimum qualification(s):
- University (Bachelors plus Masters) degreepreferably in Medical Science and/or Business Administration.
- Fluent in English preferably with goodworking knowledge of local language(s).
- Must be eligible to reside and work in SouthAfrica.
Minimum Experience:
- Relevant commercial and professionalexperience in the healthcare (services) industry medical equipment industry ora similar field with a proven personal track record of customer acquisitionand account management and preferably with some experience in financialmodelling.
- Has at least 5 years of handson on theground experience in the local market.
- A keen knowledge of the local market and goodawareness of relevant trends in the healthcare industry.
