We craft joy with playerfocused gaming experiences that last for decades. In order to do that we know that people need to bring their own joy to what we do. Today we are a proud team of 500 caring and talented professionals representing over 50 different nations.
We are looking for an Executive Producer External Projects to join our Barcelona office. This exciting new role will let you take our external game titles to the next level. As a production expert you will be responsible for liaising 3rd party partners working in tandem with inhouse teams such as Rovians from User Research UA BI Beacon QA Brand and Transmedia. Youll be ensuring that games stay on track in terms of quality budget and deadlines with the support of craft leads and studio leadership. Youll be reviewing milestones together with our inhouse Flightpath team.
You are a passionate game maker who can make sure the team lives its vision and is set up for success across multiple aspects.
You will have impact and fun at work by:
- Liaising with internal and external development teams to oversee external game production including quality and KPI followups providing feedback brand approvals and facilitating milestone approvals
- Tracking schedules identifying risks troubleshooting communication and dependency issues and working with the teams on contingency plans
- Being responsible for demonstrations and presentations of the projects ensuring they seamlessly reach their milestone goals
- Maintaining and enhancing creative relationships with external teams; possibly finding potential partners to work with especially in the Casual / Puzzle genre
- Implementing and coordinating the common activities between internal Rovio teams and external partners to secure smooth delivery well coordinated liveops activities or new feature launches
- Managing project planning coordinating with local game teams to create and maintain schedules and staffing plans
- Supporting stakeholder deliverable creation (HQ platform holders etc. with local teams as needed
- Conducting regular checkins with key stakeholders
- Constantly helping teams to improve their ways of working team interactions and culture
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of game production scheduling as well as schedule management
- Solid networks and contacts with external partners
- Experience handling IPs for F2P mobile games ensuring brand guidelines are strictly followed and allowing best utilisation of IPs and its existing audience
- Experience working with and coordinating external development teams
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise assess risks and solve problems
- Strong understanding of the mobile video game landscape including current gaming trends and competitive benchmarks
- Track record of managing all phases of production of a mobile F2P title from prototyping to soft launch and LiveOps operations
- Effective communication skills with the ability to foster team collaboration and ensure the team continuously moves toward the same goal; and communicate clearly with external stakeholders
- Solid business mindset and an ability to handle unexpected situations
