Position Overview:
As the Team Manager for night shift in our Machining department you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of night shift operations. We seek a motivated and proactive leader capable of managing 2nd and 3rd shift Machining operations with minimal direction. Your expertise will be vital in driving efficient production processes and upholding our highquality standards. You will lead a dedicated team of four salaried supervisors and approximately 100 hourly employees. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will spearhead initiatives to optimize productivity enhance operational performance and foster a culture of collaboration and safety for the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop a team of supervisors and hourly employees promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Monitor production metrics identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to optimize workflow.
- Collaborate with maintenance engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Lead shift meetings to communicate production goals safety protocols and updates to the team.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensures all procedures reporting and policies are followed and has authority to directly address or correct any nonconformance. Completes or ensures proper paperwork recordkeeping data entry.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three 3 years of experience as a Shift Manager in a large highvolume manufacturing environment; or with at least eight 8 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large highvolume manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement is preferred. Strong orientation for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate well crossfunctionally and work well at all levels of the organization.
- Resourceful proactive high energy resultsdriven.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and familiarity with manufacturing software and reporting tools.

About Our Location
Alliance Compressors LLC develops manufactures and markets one through sixton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35000 square feet of office space. This climatecontrolled facility is the thirdlargest manufacturing business in the area and offers its 600 employees many opportunities for advancement.
