The Role

Senior Analyst (Customer Data)
Drive commercial impact by turning customer data into actionable insights. Youll support strategic and trading decisions with advanced analytics helping the business understand performance through the customer lens. From realtime trading to longterm strategy your insights will shape initiatives that align with customer behaviour and boost business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • CustomerCentric Analytics: Analyse customer behaviour purchasing patterns and sales data to uncover trends and insights that inform commercial strategies. Deliver impactful reports dashboards and presentations that communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Data Solutions: Build and deploy predictive and prescriptive models to support decisionmaking marketing effectiveness and personalised targeting. Run experiments to optimise customer segmentation and campaign performance.
  • Strategic & Trading Support: Lead analytics for weekly trading activity and longterm planning working closely with CRM and commercial teams to answer complex business questions and inform strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong crossfunctional relationships challenge briefs and ensure analytics align with business priorities. Present insights confidently in senior forums and guide stakeholders to datadriven decisions.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior analysts ensure quality assurance of outputs and foster a collaborative team culture. Share expertise with adjacent teams and drive continuous improvement in our ways of working.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key customer KPIs proactively identifying opportunities and risks and ensuring the business stays aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

Were looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in customer analytics ideally in retail or consumerfacing industries.
  • Expertise in predictive analytics machine learning and statistical modelling using tools like SQL Python or R.
  • Strong visual storytelling and data presentation skills using platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Confident communicator with a talent for simplifying complex analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationshipbuilding capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience mentoring or managing others with a collaborative and improvementfocused mindset.
