RESEARCH SCIENTIST IBiologyVos Lab to join a research team studying how gene expression and genome architecture are coupled. The work will involve protein expression protein purification molecular cloning cell culture work and/or single molecule workstructure. The group uses biochemical and structural approaches including Xray crystallography and cryoEM and single molecule experiments to analyze how machines involved in gene expression and genome organization interact and regulate each others activity. The successful candidate will lead an individual project and will be a member of a larger collaborative team.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a Ph.D. in biochemistry biophysics or related field; at least two years of work experience in a biochemistry/biophysics laboratory; solid interpersonal skills; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.PREFERRED: experience with molecular cloning cell culture protein purification and single molecule optical tweezer work.
