What Youll Do
Maintain and Support: Monitor and resolve production issues to ensure smooth application performance.
Enhance the Product: Develop new features improve existing functionality and contribute to product design discussions.
Provide Technical Expertise: Handle advanced 3rd line) support issues and collaborate with the team to solve complex challenges.
Work Across the Stack: Contribute to both the application and the infrastructure running on AWS.
What Were Looking For
Required Skills:
Proficiency inRubyandRuby on Rails with3 years of experience:
With a total of 8 years inprofessional software development.
Experience withJavaScript(we useSveltein the front end).
Confidence in working withSQL databases.
Desirable Skills(not mandatory but a plus):
Experience withcloudbased deploymentsandcontinuous delivery(e.g. Kubernetes Docker).
Familiarity withTestDriven Development (TDD)principles.
Knowledge of other programming or scripting languages (e.g. Go)
Experience deploying to or managing cloud environments (e.g. AWS).

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is straightforward and designed to respect your time while assessing your skills effectively:
Initial Interview: A chance to get to know you and discuss your experience.
Coding Exercise: Complete a small Ruby on Rails exercise at home. The exercise should take 30120 minutes depending on your experience. Youll build a basic Rails application to demonstrate your practical coding skills and we encourage you to use Google or other resources as needed just as you would in a realworld scenario.
Second Interview: A deeper discussion about your technical expertise and fit for the role.
Offer: If successful well extend an offer to join our team!

Location & Hours
Fully remoteworking environment (UKbased).
37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours.
