When breaking news changes the game what trade do you recommend in the next 10 seconds We rely on our Equity Research Analysts to be on the front lines of market information to translate it into trading ideas.
As an Equity Analyst on Susquehannas Research team you will partner with our senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities and provide indepth analysis of future volatility events. You will be responsible for finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalising on either by discovering new information or considering existing knowledge from a different perspective. Equity Analysts are embedded in a sectorfocused trading desk and the analysis you provide will directly impact trading decisions.This role provides the unique opportunity to combine the quantitative aspects of finance with creative problem solving in order to develop trade ideas in a fastpaced proprietary trading environment.

Market Enthusiasts: Keeping up to date on current events and breaking news that affect the markets is something you naturally enjoy. From company/sector specific news to macro stories you are up to date on recent headlines.
Effective Communicators: You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with. You enjoy sharing ideas and expressing your thoughts based on your own research whilst combining the experts opinion to come to the best trading decisions excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for this role!
Analytical Logical: When it comes to decision making you use clear and sound reasoning. Youre rational and like to use analytical data and financial research skills to come up with sensible solutions.
Problem Solvers: You enjoy solving puzzles and love it when you discover a solution to a difficult problem with a demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities.
Curious: Youre excited by a career in the financial markets and the reasons why markets move in the way they do.
Prior exposure to fundamental company research is a plus.
