At Cosentino (www.cosentino) we are looking for a Regional Director to lead our 8 Distribution Centers located in Canada. The Centers are an example of Cosentinos total commitment to its clients providing them with exclusive and highquality service. The Centers combine the functions of (a) warehouse (b) brand and product showroom and (c) sales network.

What will you be doing

As a Regional Director you will be responsible for leading a regional team in the following core competencies areas: Sales and Operations. We are looking for a proven sales leader with great energy leadership and initiative to drive team performance and sales of the region assigned. The Regional Director is responsible for managing multiple distribution centers coordinating and monitoring the activities of the team executing global and local market initiatives and tracking targets in their area in order to achieve the employee development and successful financial results in the Region. The candidate will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and firstclass employee development.

To be successful on this role you should have excellent sales communication skills a wide knowledge of business functions financial and budgeting skills and to be a strong leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Managing multiple distribution Centers being responsible of the sales and operations and the results generated by those locations.
  • Responsible for analysis positioning and executing in the builder retailer and commercial market segments.
  • Grow sales and distribution of all the product lines in the region assigned.
  • Ensure centers have appropriate sales coverage for all segments (K&B Home centers Fabricators Commercial Builder).
  • Responsible for analysis positioning and executing in the builder retailer and commercial market segments.
  • Develop regional relationships with Builders.
  • Focus promotional efforts on point of purchase displays vignettes and samples.
  • Perform market prospection and opportunity identification.
  • Engage in regional relationships with industry partners and ensure Centers are embracing local chapters.
  • Marketing and coadvertising based on region for all brands with corporate coordination.
  • Maximize synergies between commercial and promotional opportunities.

KPI Management

  • Ability to understand interpret and take decisions based on KPIs balance sheet income statement
  • Ability to development a business plan.
  • Manage monitor and evaluate the results of the Centers growth and degree of achievement of the planned goals (billing overall efficiency profitability by product contained commercial segment exposure outlets etc.
  • Participates in regional leadership team conference calls/meetings throughout the year
  • Prepare all reports required including annual budget reports monthly regional updates and an end of term report for the incoming ECM meetings
  • Responsible for enforcing proper inventory procedures are being followed to ensure region assets are accounted for
  • Help ensure Centers are implementing and following Cosentino safety regulations as well as those required by various government organizations Support the Centers in identifying and evaluating business opportunities

Team Management & Development

  • Work with General Managers of each distribution Center to develop and adhere to annual Center Budgets.
  • Train coach and develop General Managers of each center to achieve consistent and sustainable growth
  • Liaison for direct reports between Corporate Office and Centers by ensuring they receive information and tools from Corporate and other resources that are necessary to implement strategy
  • Lead the regional leadership team through an annual goals process
  • Hold monthly meetings with each center to review progress and needs
  • Other duties assigned.

What are we looking for

EXPERIENCE
Required
7 years of sales experience
4 years or more in the stone industry
4 years of experience managing a team
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelors degree in Business or related field
Preferred:
MBA is a plus

KNOWLEDGE
Required
Ability to read and understand financial statements general accounting rules
Desired
Knowledge of distribution processes and how they relate to cost and process efficiencies

SKILLS
Required
Communication: Oral & Written. Capacity to interact with multiple levels in the organization
Outstanding sales skills
Ability to read and understand financial statements
Clean driving record and a valid Drivers license
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
