The Role

Palantirs inhouse legal team works to proactively address legal issues and enable the growth of our business so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world. Legal Operations is the backbone of the legal team and is key to fulfilling Palantirs mission. As a Legal Operations Specialist you will be a driving force of innovation scale technology and automation. You will be responsible for building streamlining and executing on strategic processes and operational functions of the legal team. You will work with other Legal Operations teammates to help implement key systems optimize processes manage projects and create objectives and performance metrics. You will also partner closely with Palantirs attorneys and paralegals to understand the needs and develop and execute solutions that scale alongside the business. This position requires a combination of project management process optimization and skills.

Our ideal candidate will take initiative operate with discretion and resourcefulness and thrive off of executing on and supporting the processes systems and platforms of the Legal team. Most importantly they have a true desire to be helpful and go above and beyond to solve challenges.

Core Responsibilities

    • Execute legal operational workflows and procedures looking for ways to continuously improve and drive efficiency
    • Implement legal processes strategic initiatives and teamwide projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements including reporting and dashboard creation
    • Scale the operations systems and ongoing innovation of the legal team in partnership with existing Legal Operations leaders and teammates
    • Craft and implement processes to reduce friction and enable team members leaders and business counterparts to spend time on what they do best

What We Require

    • 3 years of project/program management experience preferably in a fastpaced or dynamic legal team environment
    • Experience with technical tooling and data analysis project management software
    • Meticulous attention to detail including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key project metrics
    • Implementing and scaling legal technology solutions (e.g. contract and document management workflow automation spend management esignature processes amongst others)
Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $90000 $110000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units signon bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individuals relevant qualifications work experience skills and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential signon bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any longterm incentives.
