Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Connection Approval Lead with knowlege experience and expertise in National and DoD IT policy. The connection approval lead shall implement and/or enforce compliance of policies derived from U.S. Code summarized in OMB Cir A130 Appendix 3 which require specific Government authorization to operate IT systems on behalf of the Government and enable and contribute to configuration management processes and procedures for managing reviewing and resolving authorization and connection decision actions to operate and defend the DoD networks. This position will be located at Fort Meade MD and onsite.
Responsibilities
- This position requires knowledge and experience with establishing and maintaining a process for evaluating software and assoicated documentation.
- Expert knowledge of determining resources for quality control.
- Ability to maintain level of quality throughout the software life cycle.
- Must have the abilit to doncuct formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle and provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications
Required:
- This position requires a Bachelors degree or higher in an IT related field
- Top Secret Clerance and SCI eligibility.
- This position requires having a DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III Certification
- 5 years or more of experience.

Physical Demands
Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading reviewing/analyzing information and providing recommendations summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
