Job Description
EurasiaGroup seeks a Freelance Producer to join its growing multimedia team. Thepodcast producer will be an integral part of a new media venture run out of theOffice of the President which is the team that supports the firms founderIan Bremmer in our New York Headquarters. Eurasia Group will be expanding itspodcast slate in the coming year. The Producer will lead the production of oneor two shows in Eurasia Groups current and/or new slate.
Responsibilities:
- Pitching segments guests and series ideas for shows and booking guests on as needed basis.
- Driving the editorial content for weekly shows
- Editing audio for segments as needed
- Directing host performance and overall talent management
- Managing workflow and production for a small podcast staff
- Thinking creatively about sound and how it can be used to augment content
- Working closely with the Office of the President to coordinate promotion and marketing efforts for shows
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience producing and/or editing for radio podcast or multimedia news/culture outlets
- Proficiency in ProTools or comparable audio editing software required
- Strong background and editorial experience in journalism
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Management experience a plus
