The Marketing Events Apprentice Role

The key aspects to this role will be: Event coordination synchronization and communication with involved teams feedback and intel gathering for metrics and ROI related to events.

You will be joining an international workplace representing a unique opportunity to learn build and grow new skills and evolve in a fastgrowing company.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management

  • EndtoEnd Event Manage the full event lifecycle from sourcing and planning to coordination communication and postevent analysis.
  • Planning & Coordination Oversee event logistics ensuring timely (planning shipping materials managing communications etc..
  • Communication Maintain clear and timely communication with all involved parties.
  • Analysis & Reporting Track measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess event success.
  • Support Visual Branding for Events Assist in creating visually engaging event assets (e.g. invitations booth signage presentation slides and social media posts) using tools like Canva.

Event Organization

  • Support the sales team in planning and organizing small local events for prospects and clients.
  • Assist in designing promotional materials or visual assets to enhance event engagement when needed.

Marketing & Design Support

  • Help create visually appealing event collateral including banners flyers and presentations using Canva or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align event visuals with branding guidelines.
  • Contribute creative ideas for event branding booth designs or social media content related to events.

Budget Management

  • Track and manage event budgets ensuring accurate expense reporting and cost control.


Desired Background and Skills

Education

  • Masters degree desired Bachelors degree required

Experience

  • A previous experience in event management would be a plus

Skills

  • Technical
    • Good knowledge of Excel / Google Spreadsheets is a must
    • Strong English proficiency is a must. French proficiency is desirable.
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Good people coordination. Clear thoughtful communicator (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills
    • Metricsdriven with strong analytical skills
    • Resourceful has the ability to find solutions to daily challenges
    • Ability to consistently set and meet deadlines
    • Basic marketing skills and knowledge
    • Basic knowledge of finance and the financial industry is a plus
  • Soft Skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills
    • Fast learner and teamplayer
    • Comfortable working in English and within a technical environment
    • Negotiation skills: part of the event sourcing will be negotiations with external vendors and colleagues to ensure everything goes smoothly.
