Your role:
Sub Editor for our print that will help drive new fans to the sport and enlighten seasoned followers. You will be a passionate knowledgeable subeditor eager to work within the racing team also helping to design racing content and pullouts.
Day to day you will:
Sub edit for accurate and concise content suitable for print and audiences
Proofreading and editing content for grammar spelling punctuation and clarity.
Factchecking to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Adhering to and upholding the publications style guide.
Meeting tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
What we are looking for from you:
Keen interest in horse racing
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Good writing skills
Ability to use InDesign a plus
Enthusiastic sharp and bright
Office based 1 day a week WHF
