Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) 13Week Contract Chicago IL Up to $24/Hour
We are currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13week contract in Chicago IL. This is a fulltime position offering 40 hours per week in a supportive clinical environment. If youre dependable compassionate and ready to hit the ground running wed love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Location: Chicago IL
- Schedule: Fulltime 40 hours/week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Pay: Up to $24.00/hour (based on experience)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
- Perform phlebotomy EKGs and basic lab tests as needed
- Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision
- Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ensure patient comfort and excellent customer service
- Support front desk as needed (scheduling patient checkin/out)
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required
- 2 year of recent experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
