JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
We are searching for a Network Architect to join our DevSecOps Department at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University. ARLs purpose is to research and develop innovative solutions to challenging scientific engineering and technology problems in support of the Navy the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intel Community (IC).
In this role you will be responsible for the Network Transport planning design and implementation of large scale complex network solutions that include all types of connectivity across different types of networks and locations which may include 5G wireless and LEO satellite networks.
Work locations available in San Diego CA or Arlington VA

This position can be filled at multiple levels depending on your education and experience.Typical requirements include a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline Masters Degree preferred; 4 years related experience.Additional experience and/or education are required for higher level positions
Required skills/experience areas include:
Your working location will be fully onsite located in San Diego CA or Arlington VA and you will be working in secure facilities approximately 75 of the time. Remote work may be available in a limited capacity. Travel may be required to support distant end installation or break fix actions at quick notice.

The proposed salary range may be impacted by geographic differential.
The salary range for this position including all possible grades is:
