Job Description
The Jacobs School of Music seeks candidates for a position in the Department of Strings in Violin. The successful candidate will have an extensive and successful background as a performer and teacher at the highest national and/or international level will be able to work effectively with faculty colleagues and will be able to inspire students in a professionallyoriented educational environment. Responsibilities: Teach violin in all degree and diploma programs including freshmen through doctoral levels. Participation in departmental meetings recruitment activities and auditions doctoral committees and recital hearing committees along with other department activities such as faculty recitals and outreach activities master classes and other similar activities is expected.
