The Salvation Army Salvos Doorways exist to meet the needs of marginalized community member throughout Australia.
The Salvation Army Doorways community support model engages people at their point of need in a holistic way that is missional relational and professional. We provide support for those that need it most through financial and material emergency relief and casework which helps them to find longterm solutions.
It takes an army of volunteers to provide and enable practical care for Australians every year. Volunteers bring life to our values of integrity compassion respect diversity and collaboration.
We are always looking for individuals to bring fresh energy and ideas to a range of volunteer roles. Whatever your skillset availability or areas of interest you may surprise yourself with the different ways you can make a difference.

We are constantly seeking new volunteers for those who would like to get involved. You can make an impact in the following ways;
Make a difference every day; by connecting with community members addressing social isolation helping people most in need working to address disadvantage discrimination and increasing hope in peoples lives.
Volunteer opportunities vary with days times and locations; anything from 5 hours >20 hours a week Monday to Friday and from 8:30am 4:30pm.
