Job Description
Based in Tonbridge our client a highly reputable andwellestablished firm of Chartered Accountants is looking for an Accounts and Tax Managerto join their team. This highly successful chartered accountancy practice actsfor wideranging clients across varied industries providing services includingaudit accounts tax bookkeeping payroll VAT management accounts andoutsourced accounting and payroll alongside other specialist servicesincluding tax advisory services.
Joining as an Accounts Manager based at the firms officesin Tonbridge you will have a handson role responsible for a portfolio ofclients and reviewing the work of junior staff. You will also be responsiblefor preparing accounts and corporate tax with the opportunity to also get involvedin management accounts for sole traders partnerships and OMB limitedcompanies. You will have increasing client contact and excellent progressionprospects as you progress in your career.
- Completingaccountancy and business taxation assignments for a wide range of businesses.
- Prepare andreview financial statements for a mixture of clients such as sole traderspartnerships and companies.
- Preparing VATreturns bookkeeping and management accounts for clients (including limitedcompanies sole traders and partnerships).
- Liaising withclients using a variety of methods to facilitate the production of financialstatements business tax computations and obtaining personal tax information.
- Supportingtrainee staff and contributing to their learning and development.
Requirements
- You will have a career background in accountancy practice preparing a mix of accounts tax management accounts bookkeeping and VAT services for a variation of clients including limited companies partnerships and sole traders.
- You will have at least 3 5 years experience or more ideally gained within accountancy practice and be looking to further your career.
- You will be ACCA/ACA qualified or have developed your career through experience only.
