Maintenance Technician Openings on 2nd and 3rd Shift
Full Time
Muncie IN
Compensation DOE: Up to $38/hr.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd or 3rd shift. This role is responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems to ensure the efficient operation of our production equipment and facility. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude experience working with industrial machinery and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
What you will be doing as a Maintenance Technician:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery including motors pumps conveyors and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics mechanical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and minimize downtime.
Install modify and upgrade equipment as needed.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
What you will need as a Maintenance Technician:
Minimum 35 years of industrial maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems including PLC troubleshooting (preferred).
Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technology Mechatronics or a related field is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical components (motors relays sensors etc..
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic controls pumps and valves.
Proficiency with hand and power tools welding (a plus) and fabrication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs stand/walk for extended periods and work in industrial environments (hot/cold conditions confined spaces etc..
